case
omm
an all-day omelette counter
concept
a place built around one idea: the omelette is the most universal dish in the world.
omm treats that familiarity as a door — you already trust an omelette, so it becomes the easiest possible way to try a flavour you'd otherwise never order.
and it isn't tied to a mealtime. we don't serve breakfast — omm serves eggs, done properly, whenever you want them. 8am, 2pm or 7pm, the omelette holds up just the same.
format
every omelette works two ways: on a ceramic plate if you're staying, or in a lidded cup if you're heading out.
alongside it — specialty coffee for people who want the day to start, and matcha for people who want it to slow down.
aesthetic direction
warm and unforced: cream, terracotta and sage tones, hand-drawn wavy borders rather than clean corporate lines.
a small three-egg mascot and the polish phrase miłego dnia anchor the voice. a bit exotic to tourists, warm and familiar to locals. small, confident menu instead of a sprawling one.
palette
why this works
a narrow menu built around one dish, done properly — the similar playbook as a ramen bar or a bagel shop. but here the depth comes from breadth of origin rather than variations on one recipe.
"the omelette place" is instantly explainable, and "try a new country each time" gives people a reason to keep coming back rather than settling into one order. the name is three letters, symmetrical, and the logo spells it in three shapes — which makes it work at the size of a cup lid, a stamp or an apron. and miłego dnia stays underneath as the tagline and as the thing said at handoff.
